Who doesn’t want to retain youthful looks? But guess what? You don't need to spend a lot of money to have attractive and younger looking skin. You also don't have to rely on store-bought items with potentially harmful chemicals. Simple, non-toxic carrier oils and pure, therapeutic-grade essential oils can be used to manufacture your own beauty products. It's a breeze!

How to make an Anti-Aging Serum

Ingredients:

  • Jojoba oil, 2 tbsp

  • Rose hip seed oil, 1 tbsp

  • a quarter teaspoon of vitamin E

  • 2 dabs Frankincense essential oil

  • 2 dabs of Myrrh essential oil

  • 2 dabs of essential Patchouli oil

  • 3 drops of essential Lavender oil

  • One glass dropper bottle

Directions:

  1. Fill a glass dropper bottle halfway with jojoba, rose hip seed oil, and vitamin E. Close the bottle and roll it gently to combine the essential oils.

  2. To retain, smooth, and protect your skin, apply 1/4 – 1/2 dropper full of serum nightly to a clean face and neck.

The best thing about this anti-aging facial serum is that it isn't too greasy. You will sense a difference in the texture and feel of your skin as it absorbs it. Your skin will appear firmer and more toned.

Properties of the essential oils used in the serum

  • JOJOBA OIL

Jojoba oil is very similar to the natural oils found on our skin. It's an anti-inflammatory and perfect for dry, aged, oily, regular, or acne-prone skin.

  • ROSE HIP SEED OIL

Since it is extremely nourishing and rejuvenating, rose hip seed oil is beneficial for dry and aged skin. It is well-known for its firming abilities. Essential fatty acids abound in rose hip seed oil, which softens and smoothens the skin beautifully. It enhances skin texture and reduces redness and inflammation.

VITAMIN E:

Vitamin E protects the face oil from becoming rancid by acting as an antioxidant.

FRANKINCENSE:

Frankincense essential oil is a popular element in anti-aging and dry skin products. It was utilized by the ancient Egyptians in face masks for regeneration. It possesses skin-cleansing properties, making it suitable for acne-prone skin. It is also a natural toner, which helps to minimize pores and balance out skin tone.

MYRRH:

Myrrh is an extremely potent essential oil that has been used since ancient times. Myrrh was utilized by the Arabians to treat a variety of skin ailments, including chapped skin and wrinkles. It is high in antioxidants and hence, protects the skin from ageing.

LAVENDER:

Lavender essential oil is well-known for its skin and cosmetic benefits. It can be used to clean and soothe cuts, bruises, and other skin irritations. It aids in the lightening of age spots and scars that is suitable for all skin types.

PATCHOULI:

Patchouli essential oil is particularly good for aged skin. It's used to smooth out wrinkles and parched skin. It encourages the formation of new cells and reduces the appearance of facial wrinkles.

Through these ingredients, you can definitely make a great anti-ageing serum. This is just one of the ways on how to achieve a younger looking skin.
