A wonderful hour of facial and spa time is something that no woman can ever say no to! The multistep facial treatment cleanses, stimulates, moisturises, and nourishes your skin, leaving it to appear younger and more beautiful. It's incredible that it lowers tension and makes the skin glow. Isn't that so?

It's impossible to surpass the experience of being pampered at a salon and returning home with hydrated & flushed skin. However, as much as we enjoy the two-hour royal treatment, we sometimes don't have enough time to get a facial due to our busy schedules. But it doesn't mean you can't give your skin the pampering it deserves. Have you ever tried a home facial? How about conducting a facial at home and receiving the same benefits to give your skin that wonderful spa treatment and keep it’s glow? All you have to do now is take it one step at a time and do it well.

Step 1: Cleanse well

To begin with, start with a blank canvas. Before you begin your facial, make sure you completely cleanse your face to remove any debris, makeup, or product build-up. Using a suitable cleanser for your skin to remove any makeup residue from the face. Best to double cleanse using your cleansing milk , gel or foam depending on your skin type. Cleansing milk for normal/dry skin , Gel or Foam for oily or acne prone skin.

Step 2: Exfoliate

Exfoliation is the next step. Exfoliating the skin with a gentle scrub removes dead skin cells, polishes the skin, and brightens it. Apply a pea-sized amount of your face scrub to your face and neck, gently massaging it in a circular motion.

Step 3: Massage your face

A facial isn't complete without a facial massage, and let's face it, it's the most enjoyable aspect of the procedure. This step is necessary to promote blood circulation and muscle tone, which helps to keep skin firm and bright. Take a tiny bit of facial massage cream and dampen your palms.

Step 4: Take steam

It's time to clean out your pores! The steam occurs after the exfoliation and massage. It aids in the opening of pores and makes the skin more absorbent for subsequent products.

Step 6: Tone it

Toning is a key aspect of your CTM practice, and it's especially necessary for the face. Toner will help to tone and close up your pores and prep for the next step which is a mask.

Step 5: Mask it

After the above process, your skin requires hydration and nourishment. Face masks remove pollutants and restore moisture to the skin. Grab your favourite face mask and spend some time relaxing as your skin does the same.

Step 7: Moisturise Up

Apply a soothing moisturiser to finish your at-home facial. Cleaning and steaming the face may dry it out, thus the facial should end with skin moisturiser. This final phase moisturises the skin and aids in the retention and sealing of fluid that has been lost.
